Several female business owners and potential business owners learned how to start a business as part of the “Women’s Entrepreneurs Rock” series March 27 at the MileOne International Business Assistance Center.
The women involved in the program had the chance to learn the basics of how to run a successful business.
LEDC in collaboration with Mile One, Nelly Vielma, and TAMIU’s Small Business Development Center; the idea was created to empower women who are interested in starting their own business.
Entrepreneurs who participated in the program learned about the different types of entities that are out there and the best ways to finance their company and discuss various topics that would benefit their startups.
The event was also made to help those women who are undecided about starting a business and to help them learn more about the process.
