During a brief ceremony at the City Council Chambers this morning, Mayor Pete Saenz recognized Laredo EDC 2022 Economic Development Industry Award (EDI’s) Honorees.
This year’s honorees include Dennis E. Nixon for “Lifetime Achievement Award for Economic Development”, Richer Agencia Aduanal and the Richer family legacy for their success in the “Custom Brokerage and Supply Chain” industry sectors, and Killam Development, Ltd. – The Coves at Winfield was selected as “Project of the Year” each representing the core mission of our organization to attract new businesses and assist existing businesses with growth opportunities.
Each honoree was selected by the LEDC organizing committee for their vision and commitment to our region, creating jobs and adding to the economic growth and sustainability of Laredo and Webb County. In addition to their records of excellence, all honorees believe in giving back to our community and for that, we say Thank You!
