28th Pathways for Trade Symposium

The Laredo Economic Development Corporation held its annual signature Logistics and Manufacturing Symposium Pathways for Trade, September 15, 2021.

This year’s theme “Supplying the Nation’s Economy – Top Ports in the U.S.” was focused on the economic importance of supplying our Nation and the resurgence and vitality of the U.S. economy.

Keynote Speaker for this year included U.S. Congressman Henry Cuellar with his presentation “”U.S. Resurgence & Economic Recovery”.

The lineup of guest speakers included Marisela Caraballo DiRuggiero, Director of Trade Development at Port of Los Angeles, Aaron J. Frame, Deputy Commissioner of Environment & Planning at Chicago Department of Aviation, Roger Guenther, Executive Director at Port Houston, Todd Rives, Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Port of New Orleans and representing Port of Laredo was Gerald Schwebel, Executive Vice President at International Bank of Commerce and NASCO Past President.

The event concluded with an in-person-mixer reception at MileOne International Business Assistance Center, sponsored by AEP Texas.
