LAREDO, Texas, August 20, 2019 — AEP Texas on Tuesday announced the donation of video and audio visual equipment to the Laredo Economic Development Corporation (LEDC). The donation was awarded through a $3,000 technology grant from the company’s Economic Development Department.

“We are very grateful for the support AEP Texas has given the Laredo Economic Development Corporation,” Varela said. “This equipment will play a very important role in our prospect presentations, board meetings and video conferencing programs.”
AEP Texas External Affairs Manager and LEDC Board Chair Tony Arce noted the company’s support of economic development corporations (EDCs) throughout the AEP Texas service territory. “AEP Texas recognizes the value that EDCs bring to our communities. This equipment will serve as a valuable tool during board room presentations, business meetings and other projects,” Arce said.
