The Laredo Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), in partnership with MileOne International Business Assistance Center, successfully hosted their annual “Christmas Posada” on Thursday, December 12, 2024. The festive event took place from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at MileOne, located at 1312 Houston Street, Laredo, Texas.

The evening marked not only a celebration of the holiday season but also commemorated the 7th Anniversary of MileOne International Business Assistance Center. A highlight of the night was the presentation of the 2024 Partnership Award to Hector Ramirez, Project Manager at MBDA Rural Center South Texas. This prestigious award recognized the organization’s ongoing and exceptional support for MileOne’s mission to empower entrepreneurs and foster small business growth in the Laredo community.

Special recognition was also given to PNC Bank for their valuable support throughout 2024, particularly for their contributions to the Women Entrepreneurs Rock Series. Their involvement has been instrumental in promoting initiatives that uplift and empower women entrepreneurs in the region.

Guests enjoyed an array of holiday door prizes, engaging games, delicious refreshments, and an assortment of wine and spirits. The evening provided a fantastic opportunity for attendees to connect with local entrepreneurs, fostering new relationships and strengthening community ties.

The Christmas Posada highlighted the joint efforts of LEDC and MileOne in promoting economic development and encouraging entrepreneurial endeavors in the area.
