Gene Lindgren, President and CEO of the Laredo Economic Development Corporation, and staff met with Ivan Torres, Economic Development Director from the city of Nuevo Laredo on November 22, 2021. 

The two groups will closely collaborate to promote Los Dos Laredos as one dynamic region for investment and job growth going into 2022 and beyond. They reviewed and made plans for the shared 2022 – 2024 industrial investment strategy, began discussions on expositions and summits for the upcoming year, and reviewed the progress of ongoing leads and announcements.
