The MileOne International Business Assistance Center, a Laredo Economic Development Corporation division hosted the Women Entrepreneur Rock Series event to celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday, March 8th. in partnership with PeopleFund, Ambitious Management, and the Laredo Commission for Women.

International Women’s Day is celebrated in many countries around the world. It is a day when women are recognized for their achievements without regard to divisions, whether they be national, ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic, or political.

During the event, the three guest panelists Jackie Nieto from LXJ Studio, Cassandra Eve Galindo from EDEN Garden of Glamour, and Isis Hernandez from Decor & Design, shared their stories and journeys as successful female entrepreneurs.
